As a Tooling and Equipment buyer, your primary responsibility will be to manage RFQ for Tools and Equipment within the approved vendor list for new projects and mass production needs in relation to Industrial and operations departments.
You will directly report to Group Purchasing Tool&Equipment Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out negotiation with suppliers to obtain the best QCD compromise without neglecting the technical compliance from the RFQ phase to the Project execution.
Participate in the scouting activity by bringing new sources into Approved Vendors panel inline with target and performance indicators.
Ensure production capability and capacity of suppliers market and panel then recommend the adequate supplier through the group sourcing nomination committee.
Ensure that project related contractual documentation is aligned with Treves Purchasing Policy.
Lead the the Group Sourcing Nomination Committee.
Manage, maintain and develop the Supplier Relationship as part of the daily activity.
Survey and Benchmark trends, innovation and competition from the Supplier Market.
Participate in the development of internal purchasing tools and Metrix to improve and monitor performance (Ex: Cost Data base, cost tooling, reporting, etc.).
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a purchasing management role, preferably within the automotive industry
Strong negotiation and communication skills, understanding of the market,
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to develop the relationship with suppliers.
Familiarity with automotive standards (eg, IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
Fluent in Czech and English; additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel.
